Award Winner!

This block of 12 flats is situated 400 metres from the beach at Southbourne and was highly commended in the 2000 Bournemouth Civic Design Awards for an unusual and interesting design.

Another Award Winner!
Nestling in the heart of the Porchester Conservation Area this block replaced a poorly extended and run down Nursing Home and was awarded Best New Building in a Conservation Area in the 2003 Bournemouth Civic Design Awards.

Previous Projects:
You’ll see this development of 40 flats as you come into Bournemouth down the Wessex Way. Replacing a derelict site of lock up garages and a run down house this site now provides much needed affordable housing for Bournemouth residents.

This very simplistic unit provides 3 superb flats with sea views and is surely the first of many in this strip of several outdated houses that need to follow suit!

You would not believe the stunning views from this one – set on a ridge overlooking Boscombe pier and the Isle of Wight.

This block of 14 units is designed to replace a typical Bournemouth Victorian hotel.

We like to think this is one of the smarter new blocks recently finished in Charminster!

Watch this space! We hope to post a photo of the finished block soon – a simply stunning seaside position with to die for views. When the scaffolding comes down – all will be revealed!

We can do traditional as well! We designed this little thatched house some ten years ago and landscaping has now matured to give it that real English look.

A traditional design in a conservation area

Street Elevation

View from Pleasure Gardens
Set overlooking Horseshoe Common in the Dean Park Conservation Area this recently completed building comprising 9 flats that have been designed with underground parking which enables the flats to take full opportunity of the superb setting and to maximise views towards the Town Centre.

Southbourne
All flats facing the sea!
Set just a few hundred metres from the sea this modern block was designed to ensure that all flats had private balconies to face south yet still in keeping with its neighbours.

Blandford
A suitable case for refurbishment!
Before...

... and now three beautiful homes
overlooking the river...

Moving out of town it's good to get some country air and have the opportunity to work on the refurbishment of dilapidated farm buildings - in this case the conversion to form 3 luxury houses with views over the river at Blandford Forum.

Throop Village
Listed building refurbishment and extension

and a cottage in the grounds...

Unfortunately schemes like this don't come along very often. The complete refurbishment and extension of a listed building in the pretty village of Throop, just north of Bournemouth. No expense was spared in the completion of this scheme which now gives the house superb accommodation including underground garaging and two sympathetic cottages (built as enabling development) in the gardens.

Southbourne
A simple house improvement
This was the complete facelift and refurbishment of a 1930’s double bay fronted family house which modernised and extended the house and brought it into the 21st century.

Dean Park
New build blocks of flats don't always work and sometimes a conversion and extension scheme can enhance and return a building to its former glory. Set just at the top of Richmond Hill, Bournemouth this former poorly extended and run down Rest Home has been extended to provide some character flats. Set in the grounds which you cannot see from the road is a new Coach House which provides that ‘additional unit’ always craved for by developers!

Branksome Park
Poole

This new family house extends to some 8,000 sq ft and is set in the Branksome Park Conservation Area in Poole. Houses like this are designed without compromise to ensure their owners complete satisfaction. This house has an internal gym, swimming pool and extensive accommodation.

A Simple House Improvement

A simple very run down family house at Corfe Mullen in Dorset has been transformed with a simple side extension that provides a galleried landing over the entrance hall. Simple and effective - the owners love it!

New Homes...

Over the years we’ve been asked to design all sorts of new homes but these are two of our favourites. One is very simple, yet remarkably effective, the other is a superb modern home designed to look like a barn!
