Having prepared sketch proposals for discussion with the Planning, Conservation and Listed Building officers at WDDC (who were naturally emotionally involved in the site!) we prepared our full drawings and designs for submission. Some months of negotiation and discussion later we were very pleased to have agreed design work on the whole site which culminated in the provision of 9 converted houses within the existing office buildings and ancillary Stables blocks, 16 flats within the main Listed Buildings and a further 4 new build houses in the grounds. In addition the whole site was re-designed to provide superb private walled gardens to the cottages and attractively laid out grounds and car parking areas.
